is it possible to move mailboxes between exchange org's
or do you have to use third party tools or exmerges etc.

the scenario in question

1. exchange 2003 in a 2003 domain

2. nt4 domain with a 5.5 server - this trust a 2003 domain with exchange 2003 in it - the exchange is a single org

If they can see each other, then try the Exchange Migration Wizard in the Deployment section. Otherwise, exmerge it out to a pst and then reimport to new account.
