Cross-Edition products cannot function together

I have Arcserve v9.0 Build 2020 running on XP professional.
The instalation included Server, Client for windows, Disaster recovery and Open file agents.

All the remote clients that we wish to administer from this system have Arcserve 6.xx running on NT server.

Each action on the Arcserve v9.0 system results in the following message:

"ACCESS DENIED: Cross-Edition products (Workgroup, Enterprise, etc) cannot function together. The BightStor AB Manager can only manage BrightStor AB server of the same Edition."

The user account Arcserve is operating under is a member of Local admins and Backup Operators.

You cannot administrate ARCserve 6.6x and ARcserve 2000 server/managers from the ARcserve v9 Manager.
Client and database agents from ARCserve 6.6x and 2000 will work with ARCserve 9.
