Cropping / Keying

Hi
I have this video where a guy runs across the screen and I want to crop only the guy so that everything else would be transparent. There is no other movement on the clip so the guy is the only thing moving. I've tried different keying / cropping methods but keying removes some parts of the guy and cropping is not accurate enough.

So basicly I need to seperate the moving objects from the rest.

Hi,

so you have to mask the guy out! Frame by frame... Needs time but it's the only way to do it!

Check out SilhouetteFX (roto)

Yeah, you'll have to rotoscope the image, frame by painstaking frame.

Roto will probably give you the best results. If you just want a rough and dirty result, but really quick try a difference matte:
