First of all I am totally new to Illustrator. I am a CAD Designer by trade, but sometimes I am asked to create or modify some type of graphic file.

My question to you all is:

I have a 1:1 graphic file (1.27" x 4.94) of a decal created in Illustrator, I need to crop the file to a specific size (1.27 x 1.59). What I am doing is placing a representation of the label on my CAD Drawing. Since the real label wraps around a cylinder, I only need a specific area.

So HOW can I accomplish this?

Thanks!
