Instead of running the normal daily Job, I would like to run a different job on Mondays.

Not a problem... My ? is:

For running the normal job Tuesday thru Sunday, can I

00,30 * * * 2-0 Job
instead of
00,30 * * * 2,3,4,5,6,0 Job

I have done 1-5 and so on in the past.-

I don't think the 2-0 would work, because cron doesn't 'know' that 3,4,5 and 6 should be included before 0, only that these represent days. It's not that much of an overhead to type the individual days is it?

I want to be good, is that not enough?

No... It was more of an FMI... I can test, easy enouph to, but just wanted to know...
