Cron problems

I recently ran the Solaris 8 recomended patch cluster and am now havning Cron problems. When I checked the cron logs I found some errors "cron audit problems". I have audit running so I turned it off to see if that was the problem with no luck. I also turned send mail back on and tested that out.. still not luck. I have not rebooted the SunBox after I installed the patches and I cannot, due to the nature of the system it cannot come down at this time.

Any sugestions?

You really should reboot after patches are installed for them to work properly.
Some changes may have occured but not all without a reboot.
You need to reboot and see how things are running then.
