cron log in AIX 5.1

The cron log sems to be turned on by default in AIX 5.1 (unlike in AIX 4.3.3). This produces a large file in /var/adm/cron/log which has to be cleared down at intervals.
Is there a way of stopping this log being written to when each crontask is run?
