I have some ftp scripts that run through cron. The script goes to a directory and checks for new files and if there are none it kill's itself. The scripts run every ten minutes. The problem is that it touchs all files in the directory but the script itself. The only file/files that it should be touching are new files. This just started happening. They, the scripts have been in place for over six months working fine. Does anyone have any clues.

Thanks in advance
Jesse

Are you in the UK or other country which has perhaps just switched to summertime / daylight time saving ?

If so, then you your cron daemon may have become confused about the correct time. Try killing your cron deamon and restarting it.
