If, as root, I change another users cron entry, do I need to run a refresh for the change to take place ?

I edited a users cron, time change, and it still runs at the old time

thanks

Just force a save, should work

crontab -e ${USERID} >/dev/null 2>&1 << !X!

"Whenever I dwell for any length of time on my own shortcomings, they gradually begin to seem mild, harmless, rather engaging little things, not at all like the staring defects in other people's characters."

After you update the user's crontab, does it take effect? do you see the file with your changes? If not then I think Mike is right above! otherwise, i will go with /var full or / full!

Khalid
