Oops, I meant to make this post a tip, not a question, so I'm posting it again...
Just thought I'd post a couple of the issues we've experienced with upgrading to 1.1 MR2. I just got back from being on leave, so I apologize if this is redundant. I've been out of the loop.
-- You can no longer associate a Query to a Page.
This burned us all over the place in existing reports.
-- Cascading prompts do not populate until you select the parent prompt. Previously, all the prompts would populate when the report opened, and then they would filter down as you selected values from the parent prompts. Now, only the very first prompt populates. This has resulted in extra clicks for most of our users, who would select an item from the lowest child prompt. Now they have to step through all the prompts. Per Cognos, this was changed because a lot of people requested it.
-- MR2 does not work with Adobe 6.0.
It works with 5.x versions, and 6.1, and 6.2, just not 6.0, which is of course what we have installed in all of our retail stores! So we have to upgrade Adobe in our back office PC's before we can deploy MR2.
