My Domino Server has problems sending email to a particular domain. When I "tell router show queue", i get a "Last Error: Smtp client session not connected". Can anyone tell me whether this is a problem on my side or over at the destination Server?

Please help. I have emails 2 days ago still pending in the MailBox.

It could be numerous reasons; First, is the host/domino registered with any DNS as the 'official' mail host? Some systems are set up to verify senders domain, and if not found the mail sending get rejected...
Second, check if you can look up the host using TRACE in domino, and then using a DOS box using nslookup to make sure that it is visible. Nothing in the error msg indicates it's not, but just to eliminate potentials...
Third, try to hook up to the SMTP domain host using telnet on port 25, and see what the response from the SMTP host is - if any.

Based on the findings above it could be easier to suggest other actions...
