Hi,

I am really not sure where to be posting about cricket,

I am new to perl and new to cricket. After much struggling and help, I am at the point of trying to get the website to work. I have been following the instructions from a website (
I am using FC5 and an apache 2.0 server. Following the command (from website): I get the following errors:
You don't have permission to access /~cricket/cricket/grapher.cgi on this server.
Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

When I just go to my ip address, I get You don't have permission to access / on this server error.

I am thinking it has something to do with permissions, but I am unsure of where to go from here.

Any help would be welcomed,
Miranda

Sound like the account under which the httpd dervice is running does not have right to read the files in those directories.

Check your httpd.conf to find out what User and Group directives specify, and check the file permissions on
/home/cricket/cricket/grapher.cgi Also make sure teh execute bit is set.

Also check the DocumentRoot directive in httpd.conf. See where it is pointing and check the permissions.
