Credit Card Processing

Greetings:

We are about to configure the Macola Credit Card Processing Module. We are running Progression 7.6.300C on MSSQL 2000. I have two questions.

1. Is it OK to install the GO Software PCCharge Payment Server on the same server that is running Macola. GO Software went out of their way to clarify that it doesn't need to run on server hardware. However, our Macola server runs nothing else but Macola, is a two-processor server with 2 GB of ram and RAID1/RAID5 Configuration. Is there any reason I would want to stay away from installing the payment server there?

2. If we process Credit Card transactions as an OE Cash Pre-payment during billing, Infomine document 00.660.621 states that "if BB is in use, the deposit ticket will be generated automatically in BB." Does that mean a deposit ticket will be generated for EACH credit card transaction?

Some insight into how others of you are handling this would be helpful.

I quickly found after I posted this message that item 1 was anwered already in a previous post. Item 2, however, still needs some clarification.

Is anyone out there using Credit Card Processing along with Bank Book? If so, can you shed some light on the subject?
