CREATOR OWNER KB274443 Problems

I am trying to configure our folder redirection settings
per MS KB article 274443 but I am having a problem.

When I try to assign "CREATOR OWNER" full control (To
this folder, subfolder, and files) to a folder it will
not do it. As soon as I click "Apply" it reverts back to
(To subfolders and files only). Any ideas?

The folders I am working with are not inheriting any
permissions.

I'm going to assume that the Creator of your directories was probably the Adminstrator and suggest that you just remove that from your security list since Administrators and Domain Admins should have their own setting for Full Control anyway.

What is probably causing you strife is the inheritance settigns from the root drive or folder. If you want to change the sub folder settings, look at the inheritance option and turn it off.
