Creative preloader, quik help needed PLEASE!!!

ok, for my site i wanna make a preloader of leaves fallin from a tree. working like a progress bar, the leaves start to fall, with the final one hitting the "ground" as the file is finished loading, catchin me here?

Im just drawin blanks since ive been workin on so much, i cant see clearly, so i cant seem to figure out where to even start scripting this.

If anyone can help explain how this could be scripted, point me in the right direction, or even a source file that is on the same concept, i would GREATLY appreciate it!!

Workin with Flash 5, as preference, i do have MX if needed.

doesnt sound too difficult

on paper it just a matter of how many leaves are to fall and have one drop every so many percent of load but I suspect it wont turn out to be quite that simple

this sort of thing

if bytes_loaded percentage = 10 leaf1 fall and so on
