Creation of Histogram / distribution graph in BO

Hi,

I do a lot of data analysis and on of the graphs I need are Histograms (a.k.a. distribution or bell-shape graphs).

I used to export all the data to excel and use the Histogram function from the analysis pack, but this is cumbersome if you need to do this a lot.

Is there a way to:
1) calculate the Histogram Bin's or
2) use self defined bins
3) fill those bins to get a histogram table/graph

I do not expect BO to handle statistical analysis as well as the latest extensions to Excel can (which is quite a shame) Graphs are not BO's strong point either.

quite honestly I have no idea If one can build something similar in BO, but it seems a lot of fun to try.
