Does anyone know of a plug-in that I can use to help me create watercolor sketches from existing black and white sketches I have?

Which PS are you using? Isn't there a built in filter in PS6 + ? It is listed under Artistic in my Filters Menu....

I am using PhotoShop 7.0.

Yes, there is a watercolor filter, but I am looking for a utility more advanced than this filter.

I dont know, corel painter supposed to be geared more towards this sort of thing, but I don't think it will automate changing a B+W image into a watercolour'esque pics. You maybe able to use the sketches as some sort of template.
Fortunately photoshop hasn't quite yet replaced all need for artistic ability.
As for Photoshop you could try changing the hue and saturation settings of parts of the sketch?

Moe: It could have been a real ugly situation, but luckily I managed to shoot him in the spine.

To simulate watercolors I like DEESHUBBY's method found in this thread thread229-674589

Maybe you can do your own painting on a top layer with opacity set to act as a tracing paper
