Creating users

hi all,

I am using Solaris 2.6 When i am created users from admintool the ID is not auto creating, it means i have to set the id for the user, i think it used to come automatic??! any ideas?

Use the command "useradd" instead, read it's man page, and think before you press "Enter".
It's really easy

If admintool is setting everything else up you could always go into the /etc/passwd file and edit the 3rd field to the needed user ID.
