I think this is a strange request but I want to build 'two' computer systems using the same components but separate harddrives. I was wondering if there is a device/method so that I can use two hard drives as primary, and by flicking a switch (or whatever before I boot the operating system) it would stop using one hard drive and use the other, and thus in effect I have two separate computers.

The reason for this is I use my computer mostly for leisure but recently for business. My leisure habbits means that I am prone more to virues etc because I am very relax at checking for viruses.

Any help welcomed

Cheers

Try using removable drive bays. When you want to switch computers shut down one unlock and remove the hard drive slide it into the other one lock it and away you go.

Or configure for dual boot using something like partition magic. Ed Fair
