We have a sql server and I've changed the Recovery model from Simple to Full. I went to the database then created a Transaction Log backup every 4 hours. Now:

1) Where could I find this backup?
2) Do I need to create a Job for it(but already specified every 4 hours)?

Appreciate any help.

did you use a maint plan to backup the transaction log every 4 hours? You could check the default backup location. You can find the default backup location in your default install folder. Most likely .

?:\program files\Microsoft SQL Server\...\MSSQL\Backup

Is this sql 2000 or 2005?

The job should have been created for you. Refresh your job list in the sql server agent.

I did used the Maintenance Plan Wizard. I just checked the folder I created for Transaction Log and found one that was created at 12NN. I did restart the agent after the wizard and restarted it again as you told me and still can't find it in Jobs.
