creating symbols

Hi,
I have created several symbols that I would like to access in the symbol library. I don't know what file type to save as, nor do I know where the symbol library is located.
I am presently using WP 11.
Am I able to import my own symbols? And, if so, where do I put them?

Not sure how you "created" symbols. If they are in a font file then you use them like any font.
