Creating SQL table

Hi all!

I have to install new version of database software and to transfer data from SQL 6 to SQL 2000.

How can I do that using Windows Installer Pro?
Inside the script?
Or I should write some tool in VB for example and run executable in silent mode?
How can I capture it then?
