Hello, Can someone tell me how to recreate shortcuts for Outlook 97 And Intenet explorer without having to reinstall
Maybe I'm missing something but I don't think it's as easy as sounds

Thnks,
Piaknow

You should be able to locate the target exe and create a new shortcut by right clicking on the file and selecting 'Create Shortcut', then move the shortcut where you want it.Under Win98 the targets are located at:
"C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msimn.exe" and
"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE"
Give this a try and see what happens.

I should have mentioned This is NT 4.0
Would that be a differnt situation?

THnks,

Not in the way you create the shortcut, only possibly the location of the program, as far as I know the exe's are still named the same, try doing a search for the above mentioned files. (on XP they have the same name as Win98)

Should be same location for NT4 (well it is on my NT machine!) -----------------------------------------------------
