Is it possible to create a report file from a Word Document?? I would like to maintain all the font attributes if possible.

[ol][li]From the menu select Insert|Ole Object[/li][li]From the Insert Object Form select 'Create from File' and browse to the appropriate file...[/li][li]Decide if you want to Link the document (so the version in the report is not static, it'll be updated when you update the Word doc) and if you want to display the document or just an icon for the document[/li][/ol]There are a couple of caveats you need to be aware of:[ul][li]In order to maintain the integrity of the Word document, the body of the document must be able to fit within the page of the report. Example: A landscape Word document should not be placed in a portrait report (unless you want a really small image).[/li][li]Only the body of the Word document is displayed in the report. Header and Footer information isn't shown.[/li][li]You can only display the first page of a multi-page Word document. If your document is longer than a page, you'll need to break it up into individual documents.[/li][/ul]Hope this helps :)

Rhinok,

I just finished reading your summary on the Business Objects conference on Ken Hamady's web site:

Great job and a service to us all.
I know this thread is not about this, but I had to give you a star somehow...)

Thanks!
