Creating rotating text in sphere gif

I am very new to Photoshop, and need to create an animated gif with a rotating text effect around a sphere - similar to the earth rotating effect.

Is there a straight forward way I can do this?

Are you wanting to do this in 2D or 3D? By 3D I mean like you was looking at Saturn from the front (Not sure where the front of Saturn is though). What I mean is the letters would disappear round the back then come into view again. Anyway, you will need to animate it in 'Image Ready', you should have this as it ships with Photoshop. It will be possible to do the 2D in photoshop and image ready but for the 3D you will probably need to use a 3D package like 3D studio.
