How do I set a foreign key in SQL 2005?

ALTER TABLE YourTable ADD CONSTRAINT FK_sales FOREIGN KEY ( ColumnName)
REFERENCES PrimaryKeyTable(ColumnName)

ok, I have set my foreign key, but now it wont let me create relations... Any ideas?
This is getting mildly frustrating

What does that mean??? The code Denis gave your creates a Foreign Key which IS a relation.

i realize this, but it is not showing up on a diagram, or when i try to make a relation from the diagram, its not showing up in the list. Also when I opened up SQL today, all the relations that I had created were gone, and Yes I did save it. Whats going on??

Are you creating tables and relations with a user name or as dbo?
