Creating Registry Keys during package and deployment

Greetings,

I would like to customize the VB's Package and Deployment Wizard so that the user is prompted to specify paths that point a couple of dependent databases. I would then like to create registry keys that store those paths.

Any tips on how to do this?

Don't put it in the package wizard.

I have a similar problem, and instead, when the app runs it checks if the registry contains a value, or folder for my app. If not, then execute the query code for what you are after.

This is great, as if the user has been 'playing' with the registry, and deleted an entry, rather than through an error half way through running, it shows up now, and asks the user to correct this with one of the given choices.
