Crystal Report can do it but you will have provide the technical information we need to give you the assistance you need.
[ul]
[li]Crystal Version (different version provide different solutions[/li]
[li]Database (what kind of database - Access, Oracle, etc)[/li]
[li]Connectivity (how are you connecting to the database)[/li]
[li]Sample data (where and what does the input data look like, how are the tables linked)[/li]
[li]Expected output (what will be displayed on your report)[/li]
[/ul]

Judging from your post, I think it would be more helpful to you to get some Crystal Training first. This forum is to provide the necessary assistance when problems arise, not to write the report for you.

Hi Wichitakid

Details as follows

- Crystal V8.5
- Database Sage Line 100, written in Retrieve
- Connectivity. ODBC
- Sample data. data for Sage is Rel's & comes from the nominal ledger file & the nominal ledger transaction file of Sage. The Nominal Ledger holds all the header info, account numbers, names etc. The transactions - self explanatory, hold all the transactions for these codes, year to date, transactions for the month etc.
The tables are linked by THIS RECORD on the NOM LEDGER to the PARENT RECORD on the NOMINAL TRANSACTIONS
- Expected Output, A detailed Profit & Loss Account. Sales, cost of sales (opening, closing stk & purchases) direct costs, gross profit. Then admin & general exps & finally net profit.

Hope this helps

JJ

You need to use FRx or F9 for financial statements, not Crystal, IMHO.
