creating picture slide show...

hi ya all.
this is quit a simple quastion, i think...

first step:
i need to create a slide show of pictures.
the pictures should go from one side to the other without stoping.

second step:
make the speed of the pictures very according the position of the mouse (like a sliding navigation bar).

if anyone knows a good and simple tutorial about that,
or maybe explain it on the board, will be thanked + a big and shiny star.
