Creating PDF from Word Document

I have a 5-page Word document that I need to convert to a PDF. I have AI9, and have been able to open my Word document and save it as a PDF, but only the first page seems to be saved. I'm new to AI and realize Acrobat would be the better choice, but I don't have it and can't afford it at the moment.

Is there a way to create a multi-page PDF in AI9 from a Word document? Thanks.

when you open the pdf in AI it should ask you what page you want to open. If your PDF is indeed only one page, check your PDF export settings in word. Heck, I envy you, the PDF export just crashes my machine because of some virtual printer error. Any ideas? BEHOLD! As Steve Jobs introduces us the latest in desk-lamp technology!
