Not sure if this is the right place to put this, but struggling to find any support for the wix installer.
Iv followed the tutorials from start to finish and can successfully create patches in the main application.
However the problem comes when I need to create a patch in a dependant dll and need to change the xml authoring file.
example :- patch 1 change colour of the form to green
patch 2 change the form to blue
patch 3 change the form to red and change something in a dependant dll
result.. patch 1 and 2 install correctly, patch 3 installs without error but the form stays blue and the change in the dll is not applied.
The wierd bit.. uninstall patch 1 and 2 and patch 3 suddenly starts working with the form showing red.
Any help would be much apreciated, or maybe point me to the correct resource.
