creating partner mailbox

partner mailbox said "unable to access due to too many logins" !!!!

reset password did not work!
reinitialized mailbox did not work!
deleted mailbox then added again, call voicemail 777 enter # at ext 12then password 1234 says invalid password.
system says mailbox exists, i am unable to log into it.
Comments appreciated.

Power cycle the voicemail system. Leave it off for 10-15 seconds, then power back up. Let it run for 5 minutes before trying to log in so it has time to load all the software. I've had this problem with systems with poor disconnect supervision where the lines stay looped up. I've also cured most where the users were instructed (and religiously followed) using **9 to log out.
