We need to create a server side rule that will forward non employee email from our "webmaster" to another mailbox.

We use Outlook 98 and have tried to create the server side rule as we have in the past by by replacing the Rules Wizard with In box Assistant.

The problem is we are unable to create a rule with an "exception" to exclude addresses not in our GAL.

We have successfully created a client based rule using the Rules Wizard. This unfortunately would require a PC to have Outlook open permanently, Obviously not acceptable.

Appreciate any suggestions.

You can delete the x employee's mailbox. And add that users name in the SMTP entry section for the desired mailbox.

Hope this helps.
