Creating our own icons in c#

I dont know how to create my own icons in c#. Is there any way to design our own icons in C# as VC++?. Else is there any other way to design and use our own icons in c#?

Yes, the resource editor is available athough personally I have only seen it when editing a icon that was already added to the project so I don't know how to call it up directly. Anyone? Anyone?
