Hi,

I need to find a way to create one record for many records for the same school district.

I have many records that I get from the state.

School district name and total experience and a salary for that exerience. 1 year of experience, count of 3 people,
salary of 32,000.

Here's the data:
Berlin CS,1,2,32000
Berlin CS,2,3,34000
berlin cs,3,5,36500
berlin cs,4,8,39000
etc.

My question is how can I move the data into one record?

Thanks,

TC

Not clear, please give another example or two. I don't see which row (or combined rows) give you:

1 year of experience, count of 3 people, salary of 32,000.

Hi GingerR,

I have a table with 266 records. It contains data for school district teachers total experience and median salary for that experience level.

For example:

[School District] [Totexp] [Count] [Median]
Andes Central school 2 4 31750
Andes Central school 3 2 34812
Andes Central school 5 6 36750
Andes Central school 10 9 39900
Charlotte Central school 2 3 32750
Charlotte Central school 3 2 33750
Charlotte Central school 5 7 36750
Charlotte Central school 10 5 38750
Etc.

I want to move all the data into either a query or report for a district as one line, record,or?
Example:
Years of Experience
CT 1 YEAR CT 2 YEARS CT 3 Years
Andes CS 0 0 4 31750 2 34812
Charlotte CS 0 0 3 32750 3 33750

Etc.

I hope this adds some clarification.

Thanks so much,

Site is wonderful!

Have you considered creating a crosstab query? I believe there is an FAQ in the queries forum that describes how to create a multiple value crosstab.
