Creating ODBC System DSN

Has anyone had experience with programmatically creating an ODBC System DSN? I am looking to include this feature in an SQL Reporting application I am writing (instead of depending on the software installer to successfully create the ODBC connection).

I did something similar a few months ago...using an API function... The example in the link below uses foxpro but should help you get started.
