Creating new record in GoldMine7 using GoldMine.UI

Hi all,

Can anyone help me create a new record in GM7 using GoldMine.UI? I can successfully create a new record in Contact1 and set any values I wish, however, I cannot update Contact2. The row for this new record is only created in SQL once I access the record in GoldMine.

I've tried to use the RecordObj function but am having no joy. Please help!
