Our organization just moved from Netware 3.1 to 4.11. They also upgraded groupwise from 4 to 5. I used to create users with the ad.exe program. I understand that you need nwadmin to create groupwise users in groupwise 5/Netware 4.11 but our department doesnt use Netware any more, we've moved to NT on all our servers.

I have a user account on the netware server where our post office is. Now, where do I go? I assume I need the Netware client, we currently use the MS client for netware if we need netware, where is nwadmin.exe? Where do I install it from? Any help would be appreciated.

You are correct, you need to install the NetWare client in order to run the nwadmin program, at least I haven't been able to get it to run properly on anything else. The next place to go to is....

sys:public\win32\nwadmin32.exe

This will launch the nwadmin program and allow you to create users. Keep in mind you will also need to know where you GroupWise domain is installed, It should prompt you for a path upon opening up the program. Your GroupWise administrator should be able to tell you the complete path.

*end users are just like computers, some you can work with...others just need a simple reBOOTing to fix their problems.*
