Creating new Access Level definition in CE 8.5 or 10

I am running CE 8.5 (PROD & DEV) and CE 10 (TEST) environments as we transition over between versions. All our end users access the tool via ePortfolio.

I am trying to determine if there is a way to create new Access Level definitions (eg. VIEW, SCHEDULE, FULL CONTROL) that can be selected from the drop-down and/or modify the rights of the existing ones.

What I would like to create is an Access Level definition called "VIEW EXPORT" that allows the user to VIEW, PRINT and EXPORT the Instances (CE's predefined "VIEW" access only allows VIEW and PRINT, but not EXPORT).

If that is not possible, then I would like to modify CE's predefined "VIEW" access to include the EXPORT rights.

I know that I can create ADVANCED profiles to manage this, but it requires me to set the ADVANCED rules for each group - and doesn't show me at the folder level what the underlying ADVANCED rights are unless I click on it.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. T.I.A....
