Creating multiple linked thumbnail images

Hi

I have a large number of images I want to catalog as thumbnail images with the file name under the images. I also want to have a link from the thumbnail so when its double clicked it automatically opens the hi res image in photoshop.

I am aware that there is a batch command in photoshop but this doesn't give me the desired effect, when saved as PDF from photoshop.

I have also seen that some stock image library companies have managed to get the desired effect that Im looking for.

How is this done ... Is it possible to do this in Acrobat? If it is how do I do it?

Is there a batch command in acrobat to do this?... as I have over 15GB of Images to catalog and I want to do it in PDF Format, in the shortest possible time.
