Hello,

I would like to start apache with 2 configuration files (httpd.conf) each for one application running on 2 different IPs so that I can stop and start the webserver without affecting the other. I know one way to do is thro virtual host but I donot want that way.

Has anybody done this before? pls let me know and is there any other way to create such instances ?

Thanks,
Vani

Start the second httpd with "-f /path/to/alternate/httpd.conf" and specify the bind IP in each conf file.
