Creating modem pauses

In the field where I but in my AT+T dialing card number to dial out and get connected online, what commands can I enter to cause the modem to pause before dialing the next set of numbers?

the Comma , is the usual symbol you can add several ,,, I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.

Is there any other than way than commas to get the same result?

I'm running out of space to put all the appropriate commas in.
