Hi,

I need to create a very simple macro to Run a Query "AnovoOutput" and Export the result as a .txt file to C:\temp\
using an output specification, called AnovoSpec.

I've tried using the Macro wizard, but it's not very helpful. I've can see I need to create a macro using the TransferText option, but am struggling with it.
Any suggestions?
Many thanks! Laura.

TransferText seems to be a good starting point, so what is the problem ?

Hope This Helps, PH.

you have to use vba or vbs and use recordset to get each row (record) of the query, string together all the fields and write them into a text file.
