hey, how do i go about creating links/buttons within a picture.
i.e: i have made as page in illuistrator with pictures and some text down one side and i want to turn the text into buttons or say turn certain parts of the picture so you can click on it and it takes you to another page.
sorry its hard for me to explain as im only new to dreamweaver.
thanks for your time.

It sounds like you want to make "hot spots". Here's how:

Select the image.

On the Properties panel, you will now see an area called Map.

There will be a square, circle and irregular shape. They will have light blue fill.

Decide whether you want hot spot to be square, circle or irregular, and click shape.

Draw hot spot on image.

Add link for that spot.
