Creating large distribution list in Outlook contacts

A member of staff wants to create a large [259 people] distribution list using Contacts in Outlook.

However they get an error message saying "the list has reached maximum size for your network email server. Only the first 138 of 259 members will be added"

Have looked at Exchange server and cannot see any settings here either! Any ideas?

That is a limit of the Exchange server. You can't add more than 165 contacts to a DL or 141 address book listings. joegz
