Creating Ipod Commercial Look? 1

I'm sort of new to photoshop, but I'm trying to create that look that you see in the Ipod commercials. It's sort of that look where the majority of a person's features are colored in and contrasting colors are used to create shadows or draw out certain features. If you've seen the commercials you know what I mean. I'm told there's a program or maybe just a plug-in that can easily create that look. Any help you can offer would be huge. Jeff.

The trick to the ipod commercials is that the subjects are shot against a background that is easily removed so that all you need to do is drop the tonal range of the figure in the foreground. If you make proper selections, Photoshop perform the same effect with the 'levels' control. No plugin is needed.
