Hello,
I'm trying to create an image with Drive Image 7 and I get this error: Error E7C3000F: Device \\.\PQV2iSnapShot0 cannont read 1,704 sectors starting at LBA 3,541,436. Error 00000017: Data Error (cyclic redundancy check). (0xE7C3000F).
I know there are bad sectors and am wondering if there's anyway to fix them. I've gone to Drive Image's website and it says "If the error persists, you can still create an image by disabling bad sector checking and image verification in V2i Protector. However, this does not fix the issue of the bad sectors on the hard disk; consequently, there is NO GUARANTEE that the image will be valid and capable of being successfully restored."
I tried that and it still won't create the image. It stops about half way through. Soooo, is it possible to fix bad sectors? Thanks in advance! heeeeeeeeeelllllppppppp!
