I have a list of machines that i need to create a html page that lists the machines. Each line item on the html page (each machine) has to have a link to another page that will be the details for the machines (their specs). Can this be done in the reporting tools or should i create this whole html page by vba code.

Hello,

ASP code could do that for you.
And it would be dynamic.

Hope it helps you out :D

how...i don't run my own server and i don't have a connection back the database. I'm not sure how this would work?

Hmmm,

Well, if it's a report for you alone, you could use IIS on your own machine directly.

if not, I guess that building the HTML Page via VBA is a good solution.

Hope I make sense

Ok...so you think that just opening a file to write to and use print command to generate every line will be the best way in my case?

It's not a problem to do this, i just wondered if there was another way to do it.
