Creating FAQ's

What do you think of a short avi's to illustrate a point.&nbsp;&nbsp;I don't know if MS camcorder would be good or what.&nbsp;&nbsp;Been a while since I recorded.&nbsp;&nbsp;For instance I'd like to see good use of the debug environment after a point about event tracking or stepping, etc.&nbsp;&nbsp;Sound isn't even necessary.&nbsp;&nbsp;I think we could come up with ideas that should have been implemented long ago.&nbsp;&nbsp;Just takes brain stroming and trial & error to see if beneficial.<br>John Durbin

I've never created AVIs in this way, but you are right: it would certainly be easier to follow (and perhaps create) than a long list of steps.<br><br>I don't think Tek-Tips has a provision for storing this sort of thing (AVIs and other files that are forum related), but I'd be happy to store them on my Web site, with Tek-Tips links to them.&nbsp;&nbsp;I've got tons of space to spare.<br><br>BTW, I just wanted to mention that several times recently I've made comments or suggestions to the Tek-Tips staff, and they have, without fail, been very speedy in their replies and eager to try to implement tweaks.&nbsp;&nbsp;My hats off to DM and DT for their excellent customer service. <p>Robert Bradley<br><a href=mailto: > </a><br><a href=

Yes they implemented my Preview button suggestion.&nbsp;&nbsp;I agree they are great.&nbsp;&nbsp;I'm glad you like the avi idea.&nbsp;&nbsp;I'm thinking at the end of the FAQ add a link to the AVI.&nbsp;&nbsp;I'll check on the camcorder or similar app today<br>John Durbin
