Creating excel worksheet for individual records

I know I post here a lot, but its cause I'm such a newbie. And I'm working on a few different projects so here's a question about my other one:
I want to create a table with fields such as DATE: SHIFT: CAST LOT #: PART TYPE:, etc. The last field I want to be an excel worksheet. I know I can set the field as an OLE object and insert one that way but what I need to do is insert the same template worksheet for each record and when I open the form to enter information I want the worksheet to be ready to edit and then when I create a new record I want it to be the template again so I can enter different information for a different record. Does that make sense? Not sure if its possible. What's possible isn't always what I want and what's impossible is always what I need. Thanks in advance for your help.
